Highly Functional Films for Display Industry(디스플레이 산업을 위한 고기능성 필름 동향)

Film Technology has been playing key roles in display industry. It enables display device to have different designs and form factors as well as to have better picture quality

However display industry and its’ major application such as TV, mobile PC and smartphone became to be saturated both in quantity and technology perspective. According to this changes film industry also started to suffer to have low growth rate and profitability. On the other hands, display technology itself has been changed from LCD based to OLED one especially among Korean based display panel makers. This changes brought lower consumptions of optical films and new requirements for films.

Under these circumstances, film technologies are requested to change industry shapes and help to give vitality to display industry. In these presentation we are trying to suggest some examples of role of film technology and efforts to make the industry to be changed
