Selective water vapor permeable polymeric dense membrane for air dehumidification
발표요약(Abstract)
Recently, membrane-based dehumidification having abilities of selective water vapor permeability is regarded as emerging technology for heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system. Dense membrane having abilities of a high water vapor permeability and minimum air permeability is a crucial component for air dehumidification because energy consumption can be reduced due to extracting water vapor from the humid air without release of latent heat. We fabricated hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymer based dense membrane incorporating with nanosized additives which provides non-ionic water vapor channel and at the same time reinforces the polymer matrix. Water vapor permeability of the membrane was measured using a method described in ASTM-E96.
