In various medical surgery fields, to overcome shortage of previous adhesive and sealing system, injectable and spreadable polymeric materials are distinguishing approaches. Dopamine which has strong electro-withdrawing group (Catechol group) is one of potential candidate for applying tissue adhesive with poly urethane (PU). In this presentation, Dopamine functionalized azide (DFA) which was synthesized by our previous research was applied for multi-component injectable PU system (PU-Dopa) to determine its adhesion strength and properties as well as its cytotoxicity.
